Three Little Birds - RCD Foundation

Our new design, Three Little Birds, was created in conjunction with the Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation, an Australian charity that funds childhood brain cancer research, care and development programs.

The RCD Foundation was created in Connor's honour, who was just 18 when he lost his 16-month battle with brain cancer. The foundation supports other families and change the odds for children facing brain cancer, which kills more children than any other disease.

A member of the Metalbird team, Harry Dunn, introduced us to the RCD Foundation. Harry’s story is remarkable. At just 16-years-old he endured the fight of his life and ever since, has dedicated himself to supporting the RCD Foundation and other young patients facing the same cruel diagnosis. We were keen to support Harry and the RCD Foundation and other young patients facing the same cruel diagnosis.

The Three Little Birds are available for purchase exclusively through the RCD Foundation and Metalbird Australia websites. 50% of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the RCD Foundation to fund brain matters research, care and development projects.

The Three Little Birds are made from 3mm Corten steel that rusts to a deep brown. You simply hammer it in. It looks good, attracts real birds just like itself & is almost bulletproof.
